Keith Medeiros

Hi my name is Keith Medeiros. I’m 43 years old and have been a Bristol Police Officer for 20 years. I live in Bristol, RI with my wife Sarah, 14 year old daughter Karsyn and our black lab Ziggy.

I was a 14 year old 4’10’’ 87 lbs. Freshman at Bristol High School in 1990. At that point in my life I chose to make wrestling my sport of choice. I decided to concentrate on competing and doing well in school. You see every other sport I had played as a child was based on size (height and weight) and strength. Whether it was football, baseball or soccer you needed to be big and strong. In these sports I had the speed but always fell short on the size and strength part. I had been wrestling since I was 6 yrs old and learned to love the sport. At an early age I found that it was one of the only sports where you competed against someone who weighed the same as you. Having said that, I managed to make the varsity wrestling team as a Freshman weighing just 87 lbs. at the 103 lbs. weight class. Needless to say I was at a disadvantage yet again.

I went 17-15 that year and 0-2 at the RI State Tournament. The summer going into my Sophomore year LITERALLY CHANGED MY LIFE.

This is the summer that my father, Kenny Medeiros, introduced me to Bill Anger. This is where my journey began.

I started training with Bill at Jezaks Health and Fitness 5 days a week for the next 9 months until high school wrestling season started again. After following Bill’s nutrition plan and living through his intense, insane and grueling workouts, I was able to walk into my first wrestling practice as a Sophomore weighing exactly 103 lbs at 4.5 % body fat. This was unheard of given my super high metabolism and lack of appetite. I stuck to his plan and never doubted his methods.

That year I wrestled 103 lbs, went 33-4 and won my first of 3 state championships. I went on to be a 3X RI High School State Champion ( in 3 different weight classes 103,112,119 lbs) , 2X All New England and High School All American. I also went on to wrestle in college at Roger Williams University and became a 2x Regional Champion and 2x NCAA National Qualifier.

I was lucky enough to have Bill train me for 7 years between my Sophomore year in high school through my graduation from Roger Williams University.

Bill’s intense workout methods and diet plans helped me become the wrestler and athlete I always dreamed of being and I am 100% confident that I couldn’t have done it without his support and guidance.

He taught me self discipline, mental and physical toughness and perseverance! Bill Anger started out as my trainer that summer back in 1990 and became someone so much more than that. He is like an older brother to me who guided me through some of the toughest and most enjoyable parts of my life. I am the man, father, husband and son today because of the guidance that he gave me at such a young age.

Bill is the only person that I truly trust when it comes to health and fitness. I have stuck to his workout methods and nutritional guidance for almost 28 years.

He is always reliable and always has his athletes best interest at heart.

Thank you for everything that you have done for me Bill and continue to do for others.
