“I started weight training in my 20s to stay in shape and liked how the shape of my body began to change. I started competing in 2011 in NPC women’s figure division and always came in too muscular. When women’s physique was introduced into NPC In 2012 I loved the look of the muscularity and feminism so decided to compete in women’s physique in 2014. My placing wasn’t what I hoped but continued with my regimen of training as a women’s physique competitor. In 2016 I began working with coach Bill Anger who introduced me to a different approach to diet and training and saw improved results in my physique. I competed at the NPC CT grand prix in women’s physique where I placed 1st and 2nd in my classes and went on to compete at the NPC Team Universe in Teaneck NJ where I placed 2nd in my class and won my IFBB pro card at the age of 49. Our plan for my IFBB pro debut will be sometime in 2020.”
